A group under the aegis of Adavi Rescue Mission in Kogi State has pledged its total support for Kogi State Governor Alh. Yahaya Bello over his exemplary leadership qualities.
The group, in a telephone conversation with Kogireports yesterday, spoke through its leader, Alh. Eneye Muhammed Ametinego, commended the effort of the government in transforming the state.
He noted that policies and programmes initiated by Gov. Bello in the recent times have enhanced the economy of the state as business opportunities are springing up.
Alh. Muhammed also praised the government’s ‘New Direction’ policy in the areas of making education affordable. The group, however, appealed to the governor to make education one of his priority in his administration.
Alh. Muhammed, who also extolled the virtues of Chief Edward Onoja, described him as a man of humble disposition and transparent qualities.
The group, which draws its members across the 11 wards of Adavi and beyond, also praised Governor Yahaya Bello for his unrivaled effort on security, which resulted in the safety of the people and economic progressive that is being experienced in the state.
The group has also promised its readiness in supporting the government of Alh. Yahaya Bello.
The group commended the people of Kogi State for their patience assuring them that they will soon start enjoying the dividends of democracy fully irrespective of ethnic or tribal background.
