In appreciation to Governor Yahaya Bello over his continuous efforts to strengthen peace in Kogi State and his determination to stand for the youths and the next generation, the Special Adviser to Adavi local government Chairman, Engr. Jamiu Habeeb, has organized a sensitization programmes for students.

The one-day event tagged “Digify Bytes: Building a Better Tomorrow” which held at Ebira Community Secondary School, Ogaminana (ECSSO) on Sunday, featured presentations aimed at helping the student build life skills, understand agro-business and prepare for the future.

Under the leadership of Adavi Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami, CNA, graduating students drawn from 13 public secondary schools in the LGA were admonished to be patriotic citizens.

Hundreds of compendium of Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) past questions were donated to the schools.

The event had over 400 students in attendance led by the School Principals.

Resource Persons were invited from various places to sensitize the outgoing students, equip them with the necessary information, and guide them to safeguards their future.

Engr. Habeeb, in his opening remarks, noted that the future belongs to the younger generation and the best that could be done for them is to get them prepared and create an enabling environment for young learners to showcase their potentials.
