The long lasting rift between political giants in Kogi central, Senator Mohammed Ohiare and Senator Salihu Otaru Ohize may be put to a halt by Kogi State APC chieftain and former governor Abubakar Audu. Ohize and Ohiare who are both APC party leaders in Kogi Central and are at loggerheads over Kogi Central Senate seat…part of the recent crises rocking Kogi APC.
According to a reliable source, the former governor has summoned Ohiare and Ohize because one has to step down for the other prior the primaries as their rivalry has created enough chaos already.
Some concerned Ebira sons and daughters earlier condemned the choice of Alhaji Salihu Ohize and Alhaji Ohiare as the APC party leaders in Kogi senatorial district over their roles in past political crises in the area which had led to loss of life and properties worth millions of naira destroyed.
