This call to rally round one of our own, the local government Administrator for Omala, Hon. Ibrahim Yakubu Aboh became necessary because it is the responsibility of a leader to provide opportunity, and the responsibility of individuals to contribute.
This opportunity is evident in his open door leadership style and all inclusive governance. Our responsibility as the led is to contribute our quota to make sure the progress and success of Omala is collectively attained.
The very essence of leadership is that you have to have vision. To actualises these lofty visions Hon. Aboh is naturally endowed with, to see Omala through her hurdles to development, all hands must be on deck. In many ways, the loving character and attitudes of Hon. Aboh has distinguished who a leader is and who a boss is. A leader leads, and a boss drives. When a boss creates fear, Aboh creates confidence; when a boss fixes blame, Aboh corrects mistakes; when a boss knows all, Aboh asks questions; when a boss makes work drudgery, Aboh makes work interesting. It is time for us to leave the past in its rightful place and embrace the current realities. In the past, a leader was a boss, today’s leaders must be partners with their people.
Hon. Aboh is adjudged a grassroot leader that had created a very strong bond with his people oriented policies, he feels their pulse and knows how to meet their yearnings and aspirations. Real leaders are ordinary people with extraordinary determination.
Omala, it is time for us to leverage on the determined tendencies of Hon. Aboh by giving him all the needed support to make us succeed together.
The young and dynamic Administrator of Omala, Hon. Ibrahim Yakubu Aboh is establishing the vision for the future and he is setting the strategies for getting there; he is set to motivate and inspire others to go in the right direction; he is set to sacrifice his youthful age for a better and prosperous Omala. Let’s supports him to attain that great feat.
Hon Aboh’s commitment and that of the government of the day’s focused on welfare, safety and security of the people is unshakable. Omala has great potentials. Already, under the leadership of Hon. Aboh, we have begun to realise our dream of a better and fairer Omala. Let us not deny ourselves this golden opportunity of moving towards a better and brighter tomorrow. Omala is for you and me. “Tomorrow go better”…, that tomorrow is now! …The glue that holds all relationships together – including the relationship between the leader and the led is trust, and trust is based on integrity.
Hon. Aboh is able and capable, tested and trusted, worthy of our trust ,he is a man of integrity, with our support, the beauty of his qualitative leadership is bound to reflect in our dear land. “Time is neutral and does not change things. With courage and initiative, leaders change things”. By the grace of GOD, Hon. Aboh has come to answer all the many questions bothering on Omala development.
The choice of the Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello to choose Hon. Ibrahim Yakubu Aboh as an Administrator is worthy of appreciation, because, in Hon. Aboh, you find a refined, cultured, dedicated, humble and grassroot friendly leader to the core.
