Gov Ododo to be Honoured Among 100 Most Influential Nigerians

Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State will be recognised as one of the 100 Most Influential Nigerians at a prestigious national award ceremony scheduled for June 20 in Abuja.

The event, organised by Progressives Media, will take place at the Grand Ballroom of Barcelona Hotel, Wuse II, with red carpet by 5pm and the main event kicking off at 6pm.

Governor Ododo will be honoured alongside Niger State Governor Umar Bago, Seyi Law, Sayi Vodi, and several serving and former ministers.

Speaking to the media in Abuja on Wednesday, the organizer represented by Idris Jibril, noted that the ceremony celebrates Nigerians who have made significant impact in governance, public service, business, and national development.

Progressives Media described the award night as more than just a celebration.

β€œIt is also a moment to connect, reflect, and enjoy good music, poetry, comedy, and entertainment with a surprise guest performance lined up for the evening,” the organizers said.

The media outfit runs Progressives Magazine, a quarterly publication spotlighting transformative governance, Progressives Online for timely and credible news, and Progressives TV for multimedia storytelling.

The 2025 award ceremony is expected to bring together a cross-section of achievers and thought leaders who are shaping national conversations and driving progress across sectors.
