His Excellency, Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo
Executive Governor of Kogi State, Nigeria

Sir,

REMINDER: THE ODODO SCHOOL-TO-SCHOOL CAMPAIGN GROUP (OSSC)

With due respect and in the spirit of democracy, we, the members and leaders of the Ododo School-to-School Campaign Group (OSSC), write to remind Your Excellency of our unwavering commitment and contributions to your electoral victory in the 2023 gubernatorial election in Kogi State.

During the electioneering period, our group, under the leadership of Engr. Aliyu Omeiza (Omadac), worked tirelessly to mobilize support across educational institutions throughout the state. Our mission was to rally students and young voters in support of your candidacy, motivated by our belief in your vision and the progressive agenda you promised for the people of Kogi State.

We invested our time, energy, and resources to ensure that your message reached thousands of students, convincing them that you were the most qualified candidate to lead our dear state. These efforts were made in good faith, driven by the expectation that your administration would recognize and appreciate the dedication of those who played active roles in securing your success.

However, since your inauguration, our BoT Chairman, Engr. Aliyu Omeiza, along with other key members of our group, have not received any form of acknowledgment or engagement from your government. This lack of recognition has left many of our members disheartened and feeling overlooked.

Your Excellency, we are not asking for anything beyond what is fair and deserved. We respectfully seek recognition for our sincere efforts and request opportunities for meaningful participation in your administration, in line with our capacities and contributions. We firmly believe that grassroots mobilizers—particularly those who played pivotal roles in galvanizing student support—should not be forgotten after the victory has been won.

We trust in your leadership and appeal to your sense of justice and appreciation to address this concern. The youths who stood with you during the campaign remain committed to the growth and development of Kogi State under your leadership, but they need to be included and empowered to contribute meaningfully.

We look forward to your kind intervention and a favorable response.

Long Live Kogi State!
Long Live Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo!

Sincerely,

Engr. Ubaidullahi Chatta
Director General,
Ododo School-to-School Campaign Group (OSSC).
