Comrade Akinlabi Tope Adebayo has commended the Chairman, Kogi State Wing of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Comrade Yakubu Dauda on the recent Sick Relief Project (SRP) for teachers in the state.
In a statement on Wednesday, Comrade Akinlabi said the recent program initiated by the State NUT Chairman has been applauded by the entire teachers in Kogi state.
He said the SRP program will have great impact on the lives of workers in the sector.
“In fact, we are very happy seen this kind of program coming up at this time. The program was put in place to assist the sick teachers with financial help and this money will not be paid back or having any monetary interest.
Its our prayer that God Almighty will continue to be with our state NUT Chairman and we seek for more wisdom from God to pilot the affairs of teachers in Kogi State. Amen,” he added.
