The 2023 gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi state, Senator Dino Melaye, has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Chief Patrick Adaba who passed on to glory last week.
Senator Dino Melaye, while paying tribute to the family of the late Adaba, noted that he was like a father to him who cared about his well-being and loved him like a son.
“His Excellency, until his passing to glory, was an extremely good man who genuinely loved and cared for him like a son,” Sen. Dino Melaye said.
The Kogi-born politician said the news of the passing of the former Deputy Governor of Kogi State left a bitter taste in his life and that the elder statesman will be sorely missed.
Senator Dino Melaye prayed for God to grant him repose and give his loved ones left behind, the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss of Chief Adaba.
