Oba Ibeun Pays Courtesy Visits to Traditional Rulers Across Amuro Axis, Promises Govt Intervention for Development

The Elulu of Mopa, His Royal Majesty, Oba Muyiwa Ibeun, has paid courtesy visits to all traditional rulers in the Amuro axis of Mopamuro Local Government Area Traditional Council under his Chairmanship.

Leading the visit alongside the Elulu is the Alamuro of Amuro, His Royal Majesty, Oba Alfred Modupe Aiyedogbon.

During the visit, Oba Ibeun stated that the importance of the familiarisation visit is to enhance unity for the Council, adding that it is only when the council is united that they can have the strength to push for peace and other collective interest of development of each communities and the entire Local Government.

Responding to the request of each community head, Oba Ibeun asked each community to put their developmental demands into writing, that it would be sorted and documented, sent to necessary authorities, and ensure that they are recognised for implementation and execution as budgetary provisions allows for it.

Welcoming Elulu and his entourage to Amuro Land, the Alamuro of Amuro, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Engr.) Alfred Modupe Aiyedogbon appreciates Oba Ibeun for the development he has attracted to the land in less than one year of being on the throne. Alamuro added that Amuro his home to the people of Mopa, looking how they have co-existed over the years.

Oba Ibeun received a rousing welcome to the communities. The communites visited are Otafun, Takete-Ide, Aiyedayo, Aiyede, Okagi, Orokere, Aiyeteju, and Ijagbe

The Monarch of the respective communities, Oludero of Otafun, Oba Kayode Atteh; Olude of Takete-Ide, Oba Phillip Ebilakun; Oba of Aiyede, Oba Caleb Joel Sunday; Adubakono of Okagi, Oba David Sunday Agunbiade; Oba of Orokere, Oba Arogbonlo Micheal; Oloroke of Oroke (Aiyedayo), Oba James Olu Alaofin; Oba of Aiyeteju, Oba Julius Sunday Caleb; Oba of Ijagbe, Oba Joseph Ekundayo Faje expressed their appreciation for the visit.

They unanimously pledged their loyalty and support to enable Oba Ibeun to succeed and also appreciated him for accepting to take the throne of his fore fathers, describing it as divine.

Speaking also, Chiefs Patrick Obajemu, the Balogun of Amuro; Samuel Femi, the Eleso of Takete-Ide, appreciated Elulu for his visit, adding that it is a significant and historical one.

The Elulu appreciated the Chiefs and subjects of respective communities for supporting their monarchs to succeed. He asked for more of their cooperation, support, and prayers, not only for the Traditional Council, also for the Local Government Chairman, other political leaders, government and public officials, most especially the Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration.

The visit extended to other communities in Mopa.
