Hon. leke Abejide through the Leke Abejide Foundation (LAF) has distributed food items to voters and widows across Isanlu axis of Yagba East Local Government Areas of Kogi State.
The distribution was carried out by Chief Dare Olatunde the Maiyegun of Isanlu land on behalf of Hon. Leke Joseph Abejide.
“In a bid to extend warmth and provide succor to our voters, teaming supports who voted for us during the last House of Representatives election and all the widows in Yagba, the distribution was made to cut across all the polling units in Isanlu axis”.
Some of the items distributed includes rice, gari, salt and sugar and clothing materials for widows, this move is to put smile on the faces of many people during this festive period.
To ensure items get to the grassroots, genuine supporters and voters the distribution was done based on polling units, to place emphasis on transparency in the distribution.
While expressing optimism, Chief Dare Olatunde said the distribution of the food items powered by Hon. Leke Abejide was timely and shows that the member has the interest of the people at heart.
Beneficiaries lauded the kind gesture, maintaining that the food item distribution was timely, as he has been providing food items to the widows and also being paying Waec fees for students.
They expressed confidence and support to Hon. Abejide in his political pursuit.
