Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic, Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman, has admonished Muslim faithful to sustain the virtues, ideals and values beyond the month of Ramadan as it will be of immense benefit.
In a sallah message he personally signed and made available to newsmen in Lokoja on Wednesday, Dr Salisu noted that Ramadan has been a month of deep reflection, introspection and charitable deeds.
He urged all Muslims to reflect on the teachings of the Holy month which calls for sacrifice and perseverance in order to achieve enormous reward while we live in this world, and the hereafter.
“On behalf of the Governing Council, Academic Board, Management, staff and Students of the Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, I wish to felicitate with the Muslim faithful on this year’s occasion of Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
“Special felicitation goes to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and the entire continuity and consolidation team for the successful completion of the Ramadan.
“On this Eid day, may the Almighty Allah shower His blessings upon you and your loved ones, and may He grant you the highest level of happiness and joy on this auspicious day,” he said.
