Meseko Sworn in As APC Deputy NPS, Thanks Bello, Faleke

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) led by Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, has sworn in Duro Meseko and Ikani Shuaibu Okolo as Deputy National Publicity Secretary and Zonal Organising Secretary of the party respectively.

Meseko and Okolo, both from Kogi State, were sworn in on Friday night.

The duo and other newly-elected members were sworn-in to fill vacant National Working Committee (NWC) and zonal positions.

National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje during the inauguration at the National Secretariat on Friday charged the new members to join efforts to achieve party reforms.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the newly sworn-in Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Duro Meseko, said he is humbled by his election.

He expressed gratitude to president Bola Tinubu for the support for his candidature at all levels.

Meseko equally thanked Governor Yahaya Bello for his fatherly role in the whole process

“I will like to extend my sincere gratitude to Rt.Hon. James Abiodun Faleke for his very staunch support for me throughout the election process. Your dedication to the growth and success of our political party is evident in your tireless efforts to promote its ideals and objectives. Thank you so much.

“My deep appreciation goes to the Indefatigable National Chairman of our great party, HE Dr Umar Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Secretary, Sen Basiru Ajibola and other National Working Committee (NWC) members for their unwavering support for my candidature. I am indeed humbled.

“I would also like to express my gratitude to the entire leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) right from my Ward, Odo-Ape Ward to the national levels for placing their trust in me and providing me with this incredible opportunity.

“Notwithstanding the intrigues that trailed my election, I wish to state unequivocally that I see neither victor nor vanquished. As a loyal party stalwart, I extend my hands of fellowship to all party members believing that the ultimate goal is the enhancement of the electoral fortunes of our great party at all levels.

“I intend to bring to bear decades of expertise and experience in my office. I look forward to working closely with all stakeholders in the party to fulfill the aspirations of our party and serve the people of Nigeria diligently.

“I am fully aware of the challenges that lie ahead, but I am confident that, together, we can overcome any obstacles and achieve remarkable success,” he said.

Meseko said he fully understand the weight of the role and the impact it carries, and assured that he is fully committed to upholding the principles and values of APC and delivering on them.
