A former Kogi State Commissioner for Rural Development, Hon. Daniel Oneal Ejigbo, has described the forthcoming governorship election in the state as one that will not be business as usual.

The former commissioner, in a chat with newsmen, said the forthcoming November governorship election would be decided by the people.

Hon. Daniel expressed optimism that the people of the State are now, more than ever, ready to vote in the leadership that would make their yearning and aspirations a priority.

“With my experience as a politician and as a two term commissioner in Kogi State, I can say with my shoulders high, that no amount of intimidation, blackmail or bullying will deter us from telling the truth to our people and electorate.

“You can fool some people sometimes but you can’t fool all the people all the time. There is a movement ongoing in the State and the movement is real and nobody should claim to know too much as times have really changed,” he said.

Hon. Daniel Oneal Ejigbo said the 2023 Kogi state governorship election is a defining moment to choose the right leader. He expressed optimism that nothing is stopping the ongoing movement in the State as efforts is on to sensitize the people on the direction they should go.
