Obadofin of Oweland Was a Diligent Public Servant, Quintessential Royal Colossus – Bode Adeyemi

The Special Adviser to the Governor of Kogi State on Civil Service and Labour Matters, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi has expressed sadness, brokenness and shock over the death of the Obadofin of Oweland, Oba Oladele Michael Yusuf who joined his ancestors recently.

He said the community has lost an icon, royal colossus, quintessential public servant and community leader.

Omoluabi who made the statement in a press release made available to the media in Lokoja said Oba Michael Yusuf was a loving, patriotic, versatile, altruistic and wonderful royal father who served God and humanity in very many capacity and positions.

He stated further that in all of these services, the late monarch left a legacy of honestly, integrity, patriotism and unassailable service which made many to respect him while alive

The Governor’s aide said as a public servant, the Royal father was unique, results driven and service oriented. As a traditional ruler, he described him as a unifier, kind, generous and patriotic. He said the king lived a life of impact that can hardly be forgotten any time soon.

Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi commiserated with His Royal Majesty, Oba Solomon Owoniyi, Obaro of Kabba and Chairman Okun Area Traditional Council; the Obajemu of Oweland, the entire Orotas, Igemons, Ilemula Royal family, immediate family of the late monarch and entire Owe people over the painful transition of a loving king and revered monarch.

He prayed that his soul rest in peace and ask God to grant the entire community the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
