In the build up to the 2019 general elections, the dire need for a new order and purpose driven leadership at the legislative house gave rise to the nomination and subsequent election of Hon Ranyi Daniya as member representing the good people of Bassa LGA in Kogi State House of Assembly.

His election came at a period of crisis where so many sons and daughters of Bassa Land were refugees in other lands.

So far, so good. Hon Daniya swung into action to ensure relative peace is restored in Bassa LGA by convening various committees to ensure a peaceful return of our citizens.

Hon Ranyi Daniya prioritized the welfare of all Bassa Citizens without discrimination. He ensured and contributed heavily to bring about lasting peace in Bassa.

Hon Daniya, in collaboration with the National Social Investment Office ensured Bassa LGA was captured for the Conditional Cash Transfer Program that have added value to our various communities. He is lobbying to ensure more of our communities are captured in the scheme.

The job of a legislature is to create laws and lobby Government and attract development to his constituents. In this aspect, Hon Daniya have moved various motions drawing the attention of Government on the Sheria-Oguma bridge, Shintaku-Odenyi road, rehabilitation of General Hospital Oguma and a lot more.

In the coming days more developmental strides is expected and more legislative engagement will continue.
