Ijumu born philanthropist and business mogul, Mr Richard Osaseyi recently played host to youth groups across Okun land, during a 2-day vacation to his country home, Okoro Gbede.
Notable among groups present were Okoro Youth, Ijumu Youth Vanguard, and Okun Youth Development Association.
The visit was centered around brainstorming with youths stakeholders to deliberate on topical issues affecting the unity and growth of Okun Land particularly in the youth constituency.
To further compliment Mr Richard Osaseyi and the Osaseyi Foundation for the humanitarian services and philanthropic acts towards the Okun people, the Okun Youth Development Association presented him with a certificate of Humanitarian Services.
This certificate, according to the Association, is given on merit and in total assessment of the kind humanitarian gestures of Mr Richard Osaseyi over the years; uplifting, repositioning, and making himself available for the growth and development of Okun Land.
The group established that Mr Osaseyi is a man who has been faithful in his act of kindness, generosity and benevolence to humanity. And has never relent being a conduit for success to others.
Hon. Sunday Paul, who made the presentation on behalf of the Association, admonished Mr Osaseyi to keep up the good work, and emphasized that the society will only continue to be a better place with people like him.
Receiving the certificate, Mr Osaseyi appreciated the Association for the recognition while noting that in all that he has been doing to ease the burden of those he finds the privilege to, he is only doing that to the glory of God who has given him the privilege to be a source of helping hands to others.
He pointed that he is only doing the little he can to show gratitude to God for His blessings upon him. He then revealed that doing good to each and everyone will only make the world a better place and he is happy to do that which he knows how to do best.
He went ahead to appreciate all youth groups present, and promised to never relent in his passion. And not forgetting to encouraged young people to rally round the Yahaya Bello’s led administration, stressing that the audacity of Yahaya Bello should be a motivating factor for which young people to be encouraged to dare to take active involvement in governance and democratic decision making processes.
He maintained that he is encouraged and enjoins others to see the light in the presidential ambition of Yahaya Bello.
