Kogi Guber: APC Inaugurates Okene LG Campaign Council

Director-General of Kogi Central APC Campaign Council, Hon. Abubakar Suberu Adagu Okene has inaugurated the Bello/Onoja campaign council for Okene local government.

The recently constituted campaign council was inaugurated at the Council Chambers in Okene on Friday.

Chairman of the Campaign Council and the Administrator of Okene Local Government, Mallam Abdulrazaq Muhammad insisted that the local government is in a state of permanent mobilisation for Governor Yahaya Bello.

The council boss explained that the focal point for November 16 governorship election is the wide margin of votes that will be peacefully submitted by the electorate.

He tasked the men and women that will drive the campaigns in the local government to conduct their activities peacefully and focus on issue base campaigns as the Council will not condole any form of insults or personality attacks. He urged them to appeal to electorate and the opposition as their votes will surely be counted for APC.

Hon. Abdulrazaq gave highlights of the unprecedented achievements of Okene local government council under his watch in the last general election; coming first in Kogi State, third in North Central and 7th position in Nigeria, saying “among the local governments in Nigeria, Okene return the highest number of votes for APC.”

After reading out the names of the Local Government Campaign Council and committee members by the Director-General of Okene Local Government Campaign Council in Okene, Hon. Jatto Suleiman, the Central Campaign leader, and the former Executive Chairman of Okehi Local Government, Hon. Abubakar Suberu Adagu inaugurate the Council with the charge to go all out and win members for the party.

The former Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Bello, Zonal-Vice Chairman of APC in Kogi Central, Hon. Ibrahim Ahovi, Chairman of Elder Advisory Council, Alh. Yahaya Karaku, APC State Deputy Woman leader, Hajia Aisha Isah Omade, Secretary to the Campaign Council, Hon. Abdulrasheed Adabara, and Head of Media and Publicity Committee, Hon. Abdulmumin Abubakar attended the inauguration ceremony.
