I don’t know why in politics, people tend to rob Peter to pay Paul, just for the mere fact of advancing self centeredness and personal interest to soothe their whims and caprices.
If there is need to draw political inference, judgements, predictions, calculations and purported results through doctored opinion polls, the electorates should be the final bus stop and not the preconceived social media tigers and their preconceived and ill fated predictions.
In fact, we are not surprised by their contraptions, as even the U.S. body recently contradicted and denied a statement that involved Muhammadu Buhari’s  next shot at Presidency as smooth victory. So it may also trickle down to the senate against Senator Atai Aidoko Ali, that may at the end be a farce.
Whether we like it or not, the record of political participation and resumé favours Kogi East Senator, Atai Aidoko Ali, a ranking senator and the most qualified in terms of profiling among senators from the north central, with credible records as two time member of the house of representatives.
So, it is insane to compare a political bulldozer in the person of Kogi East senator to a mere contestant who have “never” contested for even a councillor of a ward but now sees themselves as albatross to the current political order.
Senator Atai Aidoko Ali should not be linked to anybody’s political misfortunes and logjam, on the mere fact that he was a contender, as he is not the party (PDP) that agreed on the mode and processes of selection of its candidates.
Come to think of the whole charade of assessment. What were the parameters adopted to drive home this assumptions and predictions on a fair ground? This group or body assessors, are they credible, accredited or had a designed template without sentiment or devoid of bias? We are still yet to deduce their new ways of allocating powers to the political class.
On what basis have they giving the pastoral politicians a clean slate for peoples acceptance, more of winning election into Kogi East senatorial seat. May be because they have tested all the political waters of all the two major parties/others, that may be their bane of winning the election. I doubt.
Among all the strong contenders, nobody have shown greater loyalty to the party and the people except the Kogi East senator, Atai Aidoko Ali in terms of changing party platform to achieve selfish interest.
Today, they are in PDP, tomorrow in APC, and before you know they would have pitch tent with ADC, LP, APDA, SDP, Accord or another as the case may be. Is it the same way the most respected Kogi East electorates will be gravitating like flocks without shepherds?
For me, I’m yet to come to terms how an average Kogi East woman, man, informed youths and stakeholders will concede to these new style of movement by this crop of wiser politician whose interest is self centredness.
We are not self assessors or public analyst on the outcome of election, but whether we like it or not, PDP flag bearer and Kogi East senator, Atai Aidoko Ali stand to come up with a landslide victory in the next election ahead of all other contenders.
INEC will in its volition, as the approved umpire to manage elections at all levels, declare the outcome, hence any other predictions are mere wishful thinking to drive home their points.
PDP is the only grassrooted association and party managed in the last two decades and had been tested and trusted to the glory of God and the wishes of the masses and the electorate.
Kogi east senator is a ranking senator and the son of the soil positioned to take the area to greater heights in terms of all round development and advancement of the Igala/Bassa race, as any other distraction is an attempt to perpetuate the den of underdevelopment, poverty inflicted on the generality of our people.
The ongoing reconciliation from Idah to Igalamela, Ofu, Ibaji, Dekina and Bassa, as well as Ankpa, Olamboro and Omala axis will not allow the spoilers under the guise of political participation deny the Igala race the chance to extricate from the current political backwardness.
