The Kogi East Advocacy Forum for True Democracy has commended Distinguished Senator Isah Jibrin (Echocho) for his intervention in the provision of solar streetlights and the flag-off of additional open shops in markets across Kogi East.

The Forum, in a statement issued yesterday, described the distribution of solar streetlights to communities across the district as a timely intervention capable of improving security and curbing the rising incidence of crime.

According to the group, the provision of streetlights will not only illuminate communities at night but also create a safer environment for residents, traders and other members of the public.

The Forum also applauded Senator Jibrin for flagging off the provision of more open shops in markets across Kogi East, describing the initiative as a welcome development that would strengthen commercial activities and promote economic growth in the district.

It noted that improved market infrastructure would provide traders with better spaces to conduct their businesses while encouraging greater economic activity and enhancing the livelihoods of constituents.

The Kogi East Advocacy Forum for True Democracy commended Senator Jibrin for what it described as his developmental instinct and commitment to the welfare of the people.

The group further assured the Senator of its continued support for his aspirations, pledging to stand with him as he pursues initiatives aimed at improving the lives of the people of Kogi East.

“We appreciate Senator Isah Jibrin for remembering his people and for taking practical steps that directly impact communities and local businesses. We will continue to support initiatives that promote development, security and economic prosperity in Kogi East,” the Forum stated.
