The Kogi State Hajj Commission, on Tuesday, said that registration for intending pilgrims for 2019 Hajj exercise (1440 AH/2019 Hajj Exercise) has commenced in earnest.
In a statement signed by the permanent member in charge of information and welfare, Alhaji Muhammed Jamiu Abdulbaqi put the hajj fair at N1.5 million tentatively.
He said intending pilgrims are allowed to pay the fair in three installment with an initial deposit of N500,000 commencing in November, 2018.
According to Abdulbaqi, all payments must be through bank drafts only, payable to the Kogi state Hajj Commission.
The commission equally warned that no payment should be made through individuals or group of persons by any intending pilgrims.
The statement added that the closing date for payments by any intending pilgrims is the end of January, 2018.
