The leader of the All Progressives Congress in Takete Ide / Otafun Ward 07 of Mopamuro LGA and the Director General of Media and Publicity to the Governor of Kogi State, Mr Kingsley Fanwo has urged the people of the Ward to support the second term bid of the President.
Addressing the over 1000 party members who turned out to vote President Buhari as the party’s Presidential candidate for 2019, Fanwo said Kogi State under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello is set to give Mr President more votes than he was given in 2015.
“I thank you all for turning out enmasse to endorse the People’s President for second term. This is just the first leg of the journey. I urge you all to be prepared for greater task ahead to re-elect our President”, he said.
He thanked all the party leaders in the Ward and members who turned out in their numbers for the Presidential primaries.
Also in attendance are the House of Representatives aspirant for Yagba Federal Constituency, Mr Henry T Abimbola, Local Government Chairman of the party, Hon. Charles Omoyele and other notable leaders of the party.
Fanwo noted that with the turnout of participants in the primary election, it is obvious that Takete Ide / Otafun Ward is a stronghold of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
