Born on 12th March 1981, Hon. Raji Abdulazeez started his Primary Education at the popular child to child Pilot Primary School in Abuja. He proceeded to Government Secondary School Bwari (GSS-Bwari) for his Secondary Education. He attended the prestigious University of Abuja where he obtained Ordinary National Diploma in Public Administration (OND) and then a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc.) in Political Science as well as a Master of Science Degree (MSc.) in International Relations. He has working experience in Telecommunication Industry (Inter-cellular Nigeria Plc.), Nahuche Global Energy (Oil and Gas) and Brand Coolstem Values Limited, all in Abuja. He is the Chairman of Boyi Fleet Transport Company.
He started his political career in Abuja where he contested the councillorship seat of quarters ward in Gwagalada Area Council. Back home, he also contested the Kogi State House of Assembly elections in 2015 to represent Okehi Constituency.
A versatile individual in political activism, he is very hard working and intelligent, a friend and a man of his peoples. According to him parliamentary activism is the soul of democracy.
Manifesto
The burning desire to open a new chapter in parliamentary representations that is people-centered underscored our intentions that will guide our plan of actions Insha’Allah for the good people of Kogi Central Senatorial District who have been “under represented” for a long time now.
The Six Very Serious Problems are: Water, Poverty, Ajaokuta Steel Company, Health, Education and Road.
Water
I shall use my vantage position as a senator to actualize the working of Osara and Ekuku Dams as well as the present Water Work in Okene. These water bodies have the capacity to serve the whole of Kogi Central Senatorial district.My tenure shall bade bye bye to water problem in Ebira Land.
Poverty
Poverty is no doubt a very serious problem in Ebira land, Ebira people are ordinarily very hard working people. I shall use empowerment program from my constituency project to tap on their hardworking attribute. The effect is chain that those empowered shall be able to engage others.
Ajaokuta Steel Project
The future of his constituency depend, to a great extent on the revival of Ajaokuta steel project. Before now, I have joined some pressure groups to press home this demands. Being in the Senate will be a greater opportunity for me to see to the realization of this Project.
Health
As a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, I will advocate and push legislation to ensure that at least 15percent of the National Budget is devoted to health sector for establishment of health care center in many rural area in Kogi Central Senatorial District to guarantee access to health care services.
Education
I will use my connection as a senator to start education foundation that will be awarding scholarship to brilliant and needy Ebira Indigenes to study good course of their choice home and abroad.
Road
During my tenure as a senator, my constituency project shall cover gradual rehabilitation of all our roads in Kogi Central Senatorial District Excluding the Federal roads which I will push into the Federal Budget for execution..
