The member representing Ankpa 2 constituency at the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Alfa Momoh Rabiu has felicitated with the Kogi state workers on the occasion of year 2018 Workers’ Day celebration, calling on government at all level always prioritize workers’ welfare.
In his goodwill message to Kogi workers, Hon Rabiu Alfa commended them for diligently contributing to the development of the state and nation in general stressing that no matter how difficult times are, posterity will forever reward genuine labour.
The lawmaker further urged Kogi workers to remain committed to the ideals of selfless service and SERVICOM compliance noting that no society can experience massive development without the input of civil servants.
In his words “that workers are on the table day and night, it is impossible for any government institution to have meaningful development without their cooperation and so, government at all level must prioritize workers welfare as I personally consider them critical to the attainment of any set goals of States or the Nations development agenda.”
He thereafter particularly commended the workers for the unflinching understanding they have had with government in time past and expressed optimism that greater times are already unfolding.
“As a lawmaker, I have had to through committee chairmanship and even membership worked with several civil servants who in most cases turn my friends so I understand the living condition of many and can say too, that everything is gradually falling into shape.”
