I rejoice with my Christian fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters as we witness another Easter celebrations.
It is time to rejoice and be glad indeed. Yet, it is also a time to be sober and reflective, with a view to drawing from the lessons taught by the season.
No matter the travails we go through, perseverance is enjoined. We should not lose hope at any point in time. God who is capable of raising the dead is ever capable of righting a seemingly hopeless condition.
No matter the trials, we should avoid despondency. We should avoid any form of unlawful way-out.
As exemplified by Christ, the reason for the season, we should all imbibe the spirits of tolerance and forgiveness in all our endeavors.
I enjoy us to be peaceful and moderate as we celebrate, just as I wish us very many happy returns of the season.
