Patriot Matthew James Avabee has called on Christians from Okehi local government area of Kogi state to be willing to make sacrifices at all time to ensure political stability, love, unity and progress.
In his Easter message Okehi constituencts, Mathew, popularly known as Mr. Spreading, admonished his people to show love to one another.
“Today as we celebrate the death and resurrection of our lord Jesus Christ we must reflect the humble death of Christ despite he was wrongly accused, beating, crucified to death but he was resurrected in order to redeem mankind from affliction of the world and the power of darkness through his blood he shed on the cross of Calvary.
“I admonish the good people of Okehi to abide with His teaching of love sacrifice and truth, In other to attain progress, peace and unity and extend this to others in line with God to enrich and establish great consciousness among the living.
“My fellow constituent this season give us an opportunity to sacrifice, show love and reconcile back with those who have despised, offend and hurt us in one way or the other for the progress of our dear land.
“It is my prayer in this Easter, that God Almighty should make us a partaker of his blessings and unite us as a people for the progress of our dear constituency.
“I encourage you all to keep praying for those in authority as your prayers will spot them to do more for our people’ he said.
