Out of the crowded line up of aspirants seeking to represent Ankpa 1 constituency in Kogi State House of Assembly, there is one candidate that stands tall with brighter chances far above other aspirants.
In a public opinion survey conducted by Ankpa League of Professionals (ALP), Prince Yakub Yakub was rated as the best candidate for the job with unmatchable leadership qualities to give qualitative representation to the people of Ankpa 1 constituency.
In the result signed by Dr Usman and Alh. Ali Sani, the opinion survey ahead of the 2019 Ankpa 1 State House of Assembly election, in depth research findings and consultation reveals that out of over 10 aspirants seeking to represent Ankpa 1 constituency, Yakub emerged as preferred representative by respondents.
The report stated that the poll was carried out among the various categories of people in Ankpa 1 constituency, which included the youths, elders, women folk , political chieftains, party stalwarts and other vital stakeholders. A significant percentage of over 80 percent of the people of Ankpa constituency preferred the candidature of Prince Yakub Yakub, the Galadima of Ankpa.
Most of those interviewed and whose opinion were widely sought are of the common view that Prince Yakub Yakub is endowed with admirable leadership qualities which includes among others, humility, vibrancy, integrity, politeness, dependability and above all God fearing.
