The founder of ‘Who is Who’ Foundation and organiser of Igala Cultural Festival, Chief Hilary Amodu has condemned the killing of illustrious Igala sons and daughters at Ogane Nigu and Omala in Dekina and Omala Local Government areas.
Hilary Amodu, in a press statement issued in Abuja, sympathized with the Atta Igala, the Igala Traditional Council and the entire Igala Nation over the incident and pray unto God Almighty to repose their gentle souls.
He also thanked Kogi state government for its urgent action and advised that necessary machinery be put in place to avoid similar development in other parts of the state. He called on the relevant authorities to bring the perpetrators of these evil act to book.
He described the people of Ogane Nigu as peaceful and accommodating, warning that people should not misinterpret their peaceful disposition for cowardice.
Chief Hilary Amodu is the organiser of most accepted cultural carnival that is scheduled for 16th June, 2018 at Anyigba, the nerve centre of Igala socio-political activities. The cultural festival is going to be an avenue to showcase the rich cultural heritage of the Igala Nation.
