Aiyelabowo Conferred With Aare Yeye Oge of Yoruba Land Title

United Yoruba Kingdom Oodua has conferred the Yeye Oge of Yoruba Land (home and diaspora) on Chief (Mrs) Omoleye Adebanji Aiyelabowo in recognition of her efforts at promoting Yoruba culture worldwide.

The title, according to Aiyelabowo, was conferred on her based on her activities in trying to rally support for the Yoruba nation.

Aiyelabowo is also the Yeye-Oge of Okun Land in Kogi State. She is the initiator of the popular Okun traditional attire and has been a key promoter of socio-cultural activities in the area.

She has been traveling across the nation promoting the rich Yoruba cultural heritage. In the course of her trips she visited the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi on the May 17 this year and also participated in the year’s Olojo Festival at Ile-Ife.
