We are in dire need of unity in order to achieve the desired goal of a tribe.
What is it about that make us disunited, unlike citizens of state that are known for being close – knit ? What is it? It is so depressing when national issues are reduced to ethnic and religious squabbles.
While we mourn the physical loss of our leader – Prince Abubakar Audu we are more determined than ever to play our historical role to deliver the final death blow to the most evil system in the annals of human history.
The death is an assault on our collective dignity. We will honor the mammoth contributions of Prince Abubakar Audu, lay his remains to rest and intensify our just struggle to achieve a prosperous Kogi state. The only reason that Kogi state is vulnerable is because Igala people have not yet achieved political and economic unity.
Mass revolution from progressive minded youths like us is the answer to a better Igala land. This is a revolution where we must be ready to sacrifice a lot (we will be faced with great opposition from the elite imperialist but I believe if we are determined and united we will defeat the elite imperialist and their children that greedily and selfishly destroyed our state. We need to start getting involved one way or the other. We cannot just fold our arms and watch. We cannot just keep saying it on social media, we need to act now. The progressive minded people ‘especially the youths’ worked tirelessly for this ‘CHANGE’ government and if this same government we had high hopes for is going the same old Kogi Way. It is time to take our state from the sadist imperialists elites who are so selfish and only in government for their own personal gains. Enough is enough.
Where do we start from now? Are we ready to take our state from their hands? It is very possible but it will not be easy and we must be ready to sacrifice and pay the price. I am ready and doing my part everyday on the air, streets, social gatherings and at work as I talk against bad governance to our people, colleagues and general public at every slight opportunity, I enlighten them all that good governance with good laws/regulations will give us a better Kogi state. However, I feel this not enough, we need that revolution. How and when? I don’t know.
As Robert Penn Warren said, “History cannot give us a program for the future, but it can give us a fuller understanding of ourselves, and our common humanity, so that we can better face the future.”
As we continue to ask for God’s guidance and help, we must remember, God help those who help themselves.
Kogi Must Get It Right.
Kogi Must Develop.
