RE: PUBLIC PETITION AGAINST ASSAULT AND THREAT TO LIFE OF THE IDAH LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTORATE BY HON. EMMANUEL EGWU (MEMBER REPRESENTING IDAH FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, ABUJA)
Our attention have been drawn to a frivolous and ill laden petition against Hon Emmanuel Makoji Egwu dated July 22nd 2016 by one Faceless Abubakar Idakwoji.
We of the the above named group wish to write as concerned indigenes of Idah Local Government Area, Kogi State to respectfully inform the General public and security Agencies to disregard and bring to book the Author of this malicious, hatred and ill laden petition against the reverent, humble, humane and the most distinguished Hon Emmanuel Makoji Egwu, the House of Representative member representing Idah federal constituency .
We wouldn’t have dignified this malicious, inhumane and “far from truth” write-up but For record purpose ,it’s imperative to Bring to public Notice that Hon Emmanuel Makoji Egwu, judging from his humble and Religious background as a devoted and God fearing christian and Leader, who detest violence crime against humanity and also who never sees politics as a “do or die” affair had never at one point or the other, held a political meeting in his compound at Idah as regards to the House of Assembly rerun election into Idah state constituency let alone of making a vulgar, threat, and inciting statements that was capable of heating up polity in Idah.
We wish to bring to public Notice that Hon Emmanuel Makoji Egwu has never step his foot on idah soil before , during and after election. We want to make it clear that these malicious allegations were the hand work of his enemies who are already jittering and feel threatened by his rising political profiles and a deliberate attempt to smear his hard earned Reputations which is nothing but merely a bogus expression of falsehood and ignorance!
While hurriedly scribbling down the frivolous petitions with the intent to do the damage on Hon Emmanuel Makoji Egwu’s personality, common sense gave way to folly and idiocy, making the write-up inconsistent and susceptible to thorough facts and his position as at the time of this garrulous and blabalous petitions .
The allegations about an agenda by Hon. Emmanuel Egwu representing Idah Federal Constituency to use hired assassins and thugs to disrupt and ultimately thwart the State House of Assembly Supplementary Election was not only misleading and diversionary but also uncovered their Evil plots to Ambush and kill him should he be cited.
It’s surprising, demeaning reckless, irresponsible, crude, barbaric, uncivilized that allegations of such magnitude was not backed by a verifiable evidence.
We want to put the record straight that Hon Emmanuel Makoji Egwu is a law abiding citizen of Nigeria with a moral upbringing from Traditional seat of Igala culture, Idah Local Government Area ,with a strong passion for democratic building ,and politics of fair play, who is ready to work with whoever emerge from his constituency irrespective of party and platform.
We want to warn The Author of this ill-ladden petition Abubakar Idakwoji and his cohorts to desist forthwith from this hatchet job of character assassination as we will not hesitate to take decisive action against them.
