In a statement issued by Achadu Dickson, Director of Research and Documentation, of the Party in Lokoja, the PDP described the purchase of 42 Vehicles for the illegally constituted Administrators as brazen display of financial recklessness in the midst of poverty and sufferings faced people at the grassroots in the state.
The PDP lamented a situation where council allocation since February was hijacked and deposited in fixed deposit, is now spent on the purchase of exotic vehicles for administrators as totally unnecessary and unacceptable to the Party.
The Statement said with several months of unpaid salaries owed workers in the state by the Bello administration, said the governor still find it convenient to personally, without following due process, use his company to supply vehicles to the councils at an over bloated and outrageous amount.
The statement reads, ” it is unfortunate that while our people live in pain and squalor over unpaid wages, Gov Bello still finds it expedient to purchase vehicles to the tune of about N2billion for his cronies and stooges, serving as Local Government Administrators”
The PDP said the governor has thrown his sense of sensitivity and responsibility to the plight of the people to the wind, and has rather engaged in using his office to buy and sell for personal profit.

The PDP lamented a situation where the state government has since January this year assessed over N61billion from Statutory allocation, Bailout funds, Road Repair Refunds, Ecological Funds and Loans from Commercial Banks, yet has nothing to show for it other than brazen display of financial recklessness, arrest and intimidation of workers, especially Labour leaders.
The PDP appealed to people at the Local Government Areas to bear the current challenge as a price to pay, and to continue in their prayers for the state, even as the go through the untold hardship inflicted on them buy the present administration, disclosing that very soon divine help and through the courageous judgment of the higher Courts will return the state back to sanity.
