Chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Kogi state, Hon Friday Sani Makama, has warned All Progressive Congress (APC) national leader, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu to stay clear of the state governorship election in November.
Makama gave the warning in an exclusive interview in Lokoja yesterday.

He said the Kogi state people will resist any attempt by the APC leaders to carry out election fraud during the upcoming governorship election slated for November 21.
“We are aware of all his plans to rig the coming election to favour his agenda to colonize the good people of Kogi state and we shall resist it with all our might and power”.
He added that the people have resolved to reject Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s political permutation and intent of making Kogi state one of its numerous slave camps.
“Tinubu tried it in Kwara and failed due to the strong political of the present senate president Dr Bukola Saraki so Kogi will not allow such thing to happen in their state”.
He also berated the APC governorship candidate for attempting to block the release of the Kogi state bail out funds to the state.
“That’s an ungodly act. This fund is meant to reduce the sufferings of the teachers and local government workers and it is unfair for anyone in his right senses to block innocent people from their livelihood”.
He described those paid to protest as enemy of the people of Kogi state and humanity.
He advised the people of the state to remain focused and reject humiliation from Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and his men in their bid to impose any Lagos-based politician on them.
