A pro-Tinubu political support group on Sunday began the second phase of a grassroots mobilisation programme across Kogi West Senatorial District, ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 general elections.
Win With Tinubu (WWT), Kogi State Chapter, said the exercise drew a “massive turnout” in the district’s 86 wards, where ward-level inaugurations and mobilisation activities were held. The group made the announcement in a press release issued by its Media Strategy Department. The statement gave no attendance figures, and the claim of turnout could not be independently verified.
The programme, known as the WWT–Karimi mobilisation, has two stated objectives: to rally support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and to back the second-term bid of Sen. Sunday Steve Karimi, who represents the district.

According to the statement, the second phase is meant to build a structured network at ward and community levels, bringing political engagement closer to residents and strengthening the group’s organisational presence. It said the approach relies on consistent engagement, effective coordination, community-level mobilisation and a dependable communication network.
The group said activities will continue through November and December. They will include further ward inaugurations, stakeholder engagements, community outreach, political sensitisation and organisational expansion across all 86 wards.
The campaign centres on promoting Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda” and on what the group called effective senatorial representation under Karimi. The statement said the phase marks the shift of the WWT–Karimi framework into a broader, ward-driven operation. It pledged peaceful political engagement, issue-based communication and sustained community interaction.
“The 86 wards remain the operational focus,” the statement said. “The 2027 general elections provide the broader context.”
