The people of Ankpa/Omala/Olamaboro Federal constituency in Kogi State where Mohammed Idris, the son of the immediate past Governor of Kogi State Ibrahim Idris, is representing has described him as unfit to be called a representative.

Edibo Adejoh Musa, President of Kogi East Concerned Forum, stated this while reacting to a newspaper report where Mohammed Idris lamented the non performance of the Gov Idris Wada administration, described the claim of his performances in constituency projects he executed as window dressing.

He described the mandate given to Mohammed Idris, as wasted and the worst thing that has ever happened to the constituency.

Edibo said the abysmal performance of Mohammed Idris as a representative has only confirmed the initial fears of people of his constituency that he is a stranger who only cashed on his fathers influence to be where he is. He described Mohammed as a bench warmer who is a spectator in the chamber of the lower chamber.

While noting that the first project inaugurated by the Wada led administration was the Ankpa township road in Mohammed’s constituency.

Edibo described the son of the former governor as an Abuja politician who last visited his constituency thirty one months ago and is not aware of the several intervention made by the Wada administration in his constituency.

Edibo also said Mohammed accusation is baseless and geared towards seeking undue relevance, but advised him to do so with utmost decorum and civility.

Edibo described Ankpa/Omala/Olamaboro Federal Constituency as the least represented from the state on the floor of the House of Representative with Mohammed remaining the least visible in terms of contribution and delivery of democracy dividends.

While noting that the Wada led administration has lived up to expectations,Edibo said Mohammed’s attempt to discredit the governor whom many see to be making progress, was meant to raise the political stakes of his candidate who lost to Capt Idris Wada in becoming governor of the State.

Edibo commended the healthy relationship existing between Capt Wada and Mohammed’s father, described as day dreaming Mohammed’s expectation that his candidate would be declared Governor of the State.

The Chairman of the concerned Forum, disclosed that Capt Wada is not only working in line with the aspiration of Kogi people, thanked Mohammed for acknowledging that Kogi State PDP would always win elections in the state any time any day.

Edibo described Mohammed’s accusations as ranting of an ant, intended to discredit the administration of his fathers successor, said he is an attention seeker, who double speaks and stands truth on its head just to destroy Capt Wada.

Edibo urged Mohammed to come home and publicly visit sites of his acclaimed projects his representation has attracted to his constituency, said the only time Mohammed’s voice was heard on the floor of the house was during the petroleum subsidy debate when he pitched side against the people.

Mohammed was admonished by Edibo not to throw stones while living in glass house adding that he was a product of imposition on the people and a constituency he does not know about.

Edibo concluded by describing Mohammed as a man who has lost touch with reality, advised him to apologize to people of his constituency for his abysmal representation, rather than constituting himself into an Abuja opposition who is not in tune with happenings at home and the giant strides the present administration in the state has recorded.
