Kogi State might begin to toe the line of agricultural revolution like her sister state, Kwara.
American investors under the Global Greenfield Development Group visited Kogi State hoping to forge partnership the state government in cultivation of rice, cassava and sorghum.
The American investors paid the Deputy Governor, Architect Yomi Awoniyi, a courtesy visit saying the state is blessed with abundant arable land, rich for commercial cultivation of rice, cassava and sorghum.

Kogi state government in response assured that the present administration would focus on commercial farming in the state.
Awoniyi said that necessary infrastructure such as power, roads, farm implements and assistance needed to encourage farmers would be provided.
The leader of the group, Mrs. Mary Flowers said they were in the state to partner and assist in the areas of agriculture, education and to improve rural infrastructure.
