The Secretariat of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG), located opposite Lokongoma Phase Two gate in Lokoja, Kogi State has been vandalized by unknown persons, with valuables reportedly carted away.

Confirming the incident, the State Administrative Secretary of the TSG, Hon. Musa Bakare, said air conditioners and other valuables were stolen, while photographs, banners and posters of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC National Chairman and Hon. James Faleke were pulled down and destroyed.

Hon. Bakare described the incident as unfortunate, noting that Kogi remains an APC state with overwhelming love for President Tinubu.

He said it was disheartening that some persons would resort to destruction of campaign materials, stressing that banners and posters do not win elections, and that the performance of President Tinubu will ensure an overwhelming victory for the APC.

According to him, the National Coordinator of the TSG, Hon. James Faleke, is a darling of the people of Kogi State and has made remarkable impact through consistent support for the Renewed Hope Agenda, adding that Kogi people will overwhelmingly vote for the APC presidential candidate in 2027.

He laughed off the attempt to deface the Secretariat, saying the beautiful aesthetic pictures of the President and party leaders used to beautify the office cannot be erased from the hearts of the people.

Hon. Bakare disclosed that the matter has been reported to security agencies for investigation, while appealing to political actors to play by the rules and eschew politics of bitterness.

He called for unity among party faithful and all lovers of President Tinubu in the state to remain focused on the goal of peace and a massive victory for President Tinubu and the APC in the 2027 general elections.
