Hon. Musa Olumayowa Yakubu, popularly known as MOY, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) flagbearer for Ijumu State Constituency II in the Kogi State House of Assembly, has congratulated Senator Dino Melaye and Hon. Kola Ologbondiyan on their recent appointments into the party’s Presidential Campaign Council for the 2027 general elections.
In a press statement issued on Wednesday, the Assembly candidate described both political figures as distinguished leaders from the Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu axis whose inclusion in the national campaign hierarchy reflects their strategic standing within the party structure.
Under the newly constituted presidential campaign apparatus, Senator Dino Melaye serves as the Deputy Director-General in charge of Contact and Mobilisation, while Hon. Kola Ologbondiyan leads as Director of Media and Publicity within the Media and Communications Directorate.
Yakubu noted that the portfolios assigned to the duo place them in crucial operational hubs of the party’s national structure, giving them oversight of strategic outreach, national voter engagement, public communications, and media affairs ahead of the upcoming election cycle.
Extending his best wishes, the House of Assembly candidate expressed confidence in their capacity to deliver on their mandates, stating that their strategic positions will significantly bolster the political drive of the party across the country.
He added that the party’s leadership structure remains focused on delivering strong, accountable political representation, expressing optimism that the experience brought by both appointees will reinforce the campaign organisation and advance national progress.
