The leadership and entire membership of the Okun League of Progressive Elites (OLOPE) have extended their heartfelt condolences to the organisation’s Director General, Chief Alfred Bello, Esq., following the transition of his mother at the age of 82.
In a condolence message issued from the league’s secretariat, the group expressed deep sorrow over the loss, describing the news of her passing as a profound shock to the entire organisation and community.
The statement, formally signed on behalf of the organisation by the Secretary of the Okun League of Progressive Elites, Hon. Philip Olusesan Orebiyi. noted that losing a mother represents one of the most painful experiences anyone can endure, characterizing the deceased as the bedrock of her family and a source of unconditional love and prayers.
It further acknowledged her impactful journey on earth, emphasizing that her legacy lives on through her children, particularly Chief Bello, who has consistently demonstrated dedication and distinction in his service to Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, Kogi State, and humanity at large.
The group prayed for divine consolation for the bereaved Director General, his siblings, and the extended Bello family during this period of grief, asking the Almighty God to grant them the fortitude to bear the loss and to grant the soul of the departed eternal rest.
