After three decades of marriage and years of pastoral experience in marriage counselling, Pastor Stanley Omoniyi Ajileye is set to publicly present his new book, A–Z of Christian Marriage: A Biblical, Practical & Africa-Contextual Guide to Building a Godly Home, on Saturday, 3rd October 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at RCCG Shekinah Parish, Zonal Headquarters, Kabba, Kogi State.
The presentation will coincide with the author’s 30th wedding anniversary, making the occasion both a celebration of marriage and the unveiling of a practical resource for couples and families.
A–Z of Christian Marriage brings together biblical principles, pastoral insights and practical examples drawn from real-life experiences to address the questions, challenges and realities that couples encounter before and during marriage.
From choosing a life partner and preparing for marriage to building a home, communication, forgiveness, finances, intimacy, in-laws, parenting, family planning, conflict, separation, divorce and widowhood, the book provides practical guidance for navigating the different seasons of married life.
The book is particularly grounded in the African marriage experience, recognising the influence of culture, family expectations, traditional practices and extended family relationships on Christian marriages.
According to Pastor Ajileye, the book was written out of a long-standing burden to help couples build homes that are not merely successful by societal standards, but are rooted in Christ, guided by Scripture and strengthened by practical wisdom.
The occasion will feature the public presentation and review of the book, goodwill messages, and a celebration of God’s faithfulness over thirty years of marriage.
The author described the occasion as “a celebration of God’s faithfulness in our marriage and an opportunity to place in the hands of couples a practical guide drawn from Scripture, experience and years of helping families navigate the realities of marriage.”
