The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has formally congratulated its National Publicity Secretary, Barrister Felix Chukwumenonye Morka, CON, following his selection by the Nigerian Association of Christian Journalists (NACJ) as the “Most Outstanding Political Marketing Communicator of the Year 2026”.

The award will be conferred at the annual NACJ Integrity Lecture and Award Conference, scheduled for Friday, September 11, 2026, at the Lagos Airport Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos.

In an official statement issued in Abuja by the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Hon. Durosinmi Meseko, the party described the honor as a fitting tribute to Morka’s leadership in communicating the policy programs of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration.

The party highlighted Morka’s contribution to public understanding of government initiatives, particularly reforms spanning economic restructuring, infrastructure development, food security, social investment, national security, and foreign investment promotion.

Beyond his current political assignment, the APC cited Morka’s nearly four-decade career across law, public policy, human rights advocacy, and urban governance. A Harvard Law School alumnus holding an Master of Laws degree, Morka previously served as Legal Officer for Africa at the Washington, D.C.-based International Human Rights Law Group, Legal Director of the Civil Liberties Organisation, and Founder and Executive Director of the Social and Economic Rights Action Center. His background includes extensive advisory engagements with international bodies such as the United Nations, UNAIDS, the World Bank, and the African Union.

Morka’s public service career was previously recognized at the national level in 2025 when President Tinubu conferred upon him the national honor of Commander of the Order of the Niger.

Commending the NACJ for honoring professionalism in public relations, the APC expressed confidence that Morka would continue to drive the party’s strategic messaging as it prepares for the 2027 electioneering season and seeks to build support for President Tinubu’s administration.
