WWTK Steering Committee Pays Condolence Visit to Hon. Funsho Olorunfemi, Holds Strategic Meeting in Kabba

Members of the Steering Committee of the Win With Tinubu/Karimi (WWTK) Mobilization Program for Kogi West have paid a condolence visit to the former Executive Chairman of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area and Director of Community Support Mobilization, Hon. Funsho Olorunfemi (Funsho Otu), at his residence in Kabba, following the passing of his wife.

The delegation, led by the State Program Coordinator, Hon. Sani Philips, visited to commiserate with Hon. Olorunfemi and his family over the loss, describing the deceased as a virtuous woman whose life positively touched her family and all who knew her.

During the visit, Hon. Sani Philips conveyed the heartfelt condolences of the organisation to the bereaved family. He urged Hon. Olorunfemi to take heart and accept the loss as the will of Almighty God, noting that while the pain was deep, God alone gives and takes life according to His divine purpose.

He assured the former council chairman that the entire Win With Tinubu family shared in his grief and would continue to stand by him and his family through this difficult period. He also prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased’s soul and for God to grant the family strength and fortitude to bear the loss.

Responding on behalf of the family, Hon. Funsho Olorunfemi expressed profound appreciation to Senator Sunday Steve Karimi, the leadership of the Win With Tinubu (WWT) Organisation, and the delegation for identifying with him in his moment of grief. He described the visit as a great source of comfort and encouragement, and prayed for God’s blessings upon all who stood by his family.

Strategic Meeting Held in Kabba

Following the condolence visit, the WWT delegation proceeded to the residence of the State Programme Secretary, Pastor Stanley Ajileye, where members held a strategic meeting to deliberate on issues concerning the growth, unity, and repositioning of the organisation in the Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency.

The meeting gave the leadership the opportunity to review ongoing mobilisation efforts, strengthen internal coordination, and discuss strategies for expanding the organisation’s grassroots reach. Members reaffirmed their commitment to promoting the organisation’s ideals through unity, discipline, and effective engagement with stakeholders at all levels.

Addressing the gathering, Hon. Sani Philips commended members for their dedication and urged them to remain focused on the organisation’s vision and objectives. He emphasised the need for continuous collaboration, effective communication, and teamwork to ensure the successful implementation of programmes aimed at strengthening the Win With Tinubu/Karimi grassroots mobilisation programme for Kogi West.

He further urged members to sustain regular consultations, maintain open channels of communication, and work collectively to deepen the organisation’s presence at the grassroots, stressing that its continued success would depend on the commitment, sacrifice, and unity of its members.

Other members also contributed to the discussions, offering suggestions on improving coordination, enhancing public engagement, and strengthening relationships with supporters and stakeholders. The deliberations reflected a shared commitment to repositioning the organisation for greater effectiveness and sustained impact.

The meeting concluded with prayers for divine guidance, peace, and continued progress for the Win With Tinubu (WWT) Organisation, its leadership, Distinguished Senator Sunday Steve Karimi, and the people of Kogi State.
