Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has congratulated the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, on the occasion of his 58th birthday.
In a congratulatory message personally signed by the Governor, Ododo described Professor Yilwatda as a committed party leader whose leadership has continued to contribute to the stability, unity and growth of the APC.
The Governor noted that Professor Yilwatda’s return as National Chairman at the party’s 2026 National Convention was a reflection of the confidence reposed in his leadership by members and stakeholders of the APC.
According to him, the National Chairman has brought to bear his experience, intellectual depth and understanding of the dynamics of contemporary politics in steering the affairs of the governing party at a critical period in the nation’s political development.
“On behalf of my family, the Government and good people of Kogi State, I warmly congratulate our dear National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, on the occasion of his 58th birthday.
“Your leadership of our great party at this important moment in our national journey has demonstrated courage, wisdom, maturity and a clear commitment to the unity and progress of the All Progressives Congress.
“I particularly commend your efforts in strengthening the structures of our party and providing the leadership required to keep the APC united and focused on the task of delivering the Renewed Hope Agenda of our great leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.”
Governor Ododo said Professor Yilwatda’s leadership would remain important to the APC as the party continues to consolidate its gains and prepare for the challenges and opportunities ahead.
He expressed confidence that the National Chairman would continue to deploy his experience and capacity in the service of the party and the nation.
The Governor prayed Almighty God to grant Professor Yilwatda many more years in good health, wisdom and fulfilment, while wishing him greater accomplishments in his service to the APC and Nigeria.
