The Provost of Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa, Dr. Paul Femi Fashagba, has extended warm felicitations to the First Lady of Kogi State, Her Excellency, Hajia Sefinat Usman Ododo, on the occasion of her birthday, praising her dedication to humanitarian causes and her remarkable connection with the people.
In a statement made available to journalists on Friday in Lokoja, Dr. Fashagba described the First Lady as a compassionate leader whose selfless service and concern for the welfare of ordinary citizens have continued to make meaningful impact across communities in the state.
The Provost noted that Hajia Sefinat Ododo has remained a strong advocate for the wellbeing of women, children and other vulnerable groups, adding that her initiatives and outreach programmes have provided support and renewed hope for many families.
He further commended her approachable nature and consistent engagement with people at the grassroots, stressing that her humility and readiness to listen have strengthened her relationship with communities throughout Kogi State.
Dr. Fashagba also acknowledged the First Lady’s involvement in social intervention programmes that promote family stability, women empowerment and the protection of vulnerable members of society.
He equally applauded her support for national initiatives aimed at improving the lives of women and children, noting that such collaborations have further expanded opportunities for many citizens.
The Provost prayed that God grants Hajia Sefinat Usman Ododo many more years in good health, wisdom and strength as she continues to support the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and contribute to the development and wellbeing of the people of Kogi State.
