Chief Ipinmisho Thanks Gov Ododo, Rep Salman for Restoration of 11 Suppressed Kogi Constituencies

The Olukoko of Ogidi Land, High Chief Shuaibu Ipinmisho, has expressed gratitude to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his unwavering effort that culminated in the court victory restoring eleven suppressed constituencies in the Kogi State House of Assembly.

Reacting to the court judgment in Lokoja on Friday, Chief Ipinmisho also thanked the member representing Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu in the House of Representatives, Hon. Salman Idris for his foresight in bringing forth issue leading to the landmark judgment regarding the long-suppressed constituencies in Kogi state.

High Chief Ipinmisho said the judicial victory stands as a monumental legacy, one that will not only be remembered fondly by the current society but will also echo through the lives of future generations.

“This significant ruling paves the way for a more inclusive political landscape, ensuring that underrepresented voices finally receive the recognition and representation they deserve.

“Personally, I would like to express my profound appreciation to our amiable and dedicated Governor, whose leadership and vision have been instrumental in securing this unique victory for us all, fostering hope and progress in our beloved social system – Kogi State,” he added.
