A leading Aspirant for the 2027 House of Representatives Yagba Federal Constituency election, Gen. Benjamin Ipinyomi has called on Muslim Faithfuls to intensify prayers for Kogi State and Nigeria in the face of present insecurity.

The Kogi born Retired General in a Ramadan message sent to Muslims across Yagbaland described the month of Ramadan as a month of Sacrifice and Holiness.

Gen. Ipinyomi advised Muslims to continually engage in good deeds as the fasting and prayer begins.

The statement partly reads “As the blessed month of Ramadan begins, may Allah purify your hearts, strengthen your faith and accept our fasting, prayers, and good deeds”.

“May this sacred period bring peace to your homes, mercy to your lives, and blessings to everything you do”.

“Let us forgive one another, care for the needy, and draw closer to Allah with sincerity and humility.

I call on all Muslim Faithfuls to intensify prayers for our beloved Yagbaland, Kogi State and Nigeria in general”.

“Make it a point of duty to always ask for God’s mercies upon our land that peace may be restored to our Nation”.
