A National Youth Leader aspirant in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Oluwakayode Emmanuel Eseyin, has strongly condemned the heinous attack on the peaceful communities of Kogi State, particularly the recent incident in Ayetoro Kiri, Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area.
In a statement on Saturday, Prince Eseyin said such acts of violence threaten lives, disrupt communal harmony, and undermine the collective progress and stability of his people.
He commended the proactive leadership and unwavering commitment of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his sustained efforts in safeguarding lives and property across Kogi State.
“The courage and professionalism displayed by our security agencies, which led to the neutralization of suspected bandits during the fierce gun battle, deserve commendation and continued support.
“At this critical time, we call on the Christian body and well-meaning citizens to support the leadership of Governor Alhaji Usman Ododo not just in prayers but come together in unity, cooperation, and vigilance to curb the menace of banditry in our dear Jerusalem,” he said.
Eseyin admonished that security is a collective responsibility, expressing optimism that “through unity, intelligence sharing, and steadfast support for constituted authorities, we will defeat these criminal elements and restore lasting peace to our communities.”
