Residents of Ida-Ovu community in New Zango, Adavi Local Government Area, have received a much-needed boost following the donation of a functional borehole, five bags of rice, and cash support from Hon. Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim. The gesture comes as part of efforts to alleviate the hardship faced by residents amid Nigeria’s prevailing economic challenges.

Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim, a dedicated member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at both state and national levels, is widely known for his grassroots development initiatives and his consistent commitment to improving the welfare of his people.

While addressing the beneficiaries, Alhaji Ibrahim emphasized that access to clean water remains one of his top priorities, noting that he plans to extend similar projects to other parts of Adavi Local Government Area. According to him, the ongoing water initiative aims to ease the long-standing problem of water scarcity across the area.

He further revealed that additional boreholes will be constructed across all 11 wards of Adavi LGA before the 2027 general elections, adding that such community-driven projects would strengthen the goodwill and popularity of the APC and support the development agenda of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

Expressing appreciation on behalf of the community, Hon. Yunusa Osuwa, Chairman of the Ida-Ovu Community Development Association, lauded the intervention as timely and impactful. He commended Alhaji Ibrahim for his compassion and generosity, assuring that the borehole would be properly maintained and secured for sustainable use.

Hon. Osuwa concluded with prayers for the donor, asking God to reward Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim abundantly and to continue to bless him with the means to serve humanity.
