The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth Wing in Kogi State has extended heartfelt appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing a distinguished Kogi-born professional, Olumode Samuel Adeyemi, as the Controller General of the Federal Fire Service.
A statement signed by Kogi State APC Youth Leader, Hon Mohammed U. Mohammed, noted that the remarkable appointment as a reflection of President Tinubu’s commitment to inclusive governance, meritocracy, and recognition of competence across Nigeria’s geopolitical zones.
The youths hailed the President for finding Olumode worthy of such a sensitive national assignment. They described him as a seasoned, experienced, and visionary professional whose dedication to service has never gone unnoticed.
The youths further used the opportunity to appeal to the Federal Government for continuous support, capacity building, and provision of resources, that will enable the Controller General and his team at the Federal Fire Service to effectively deliver on their mandate of fire prevention, emergency response, and public safety nationwide.
They reaffirmed their unwavering support for President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and pledged to continue mobilizing Kogi youths in support of good governance and national development.
