The member representing Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, Hon. Salman Idris, has reached out to Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) to explore ways of expanding access to basic education in his constituency.
During a courtesy visit to the headquarters of the UBEC on Tuesday, Hon. Salman noted that the federal government’s Renewed Hope Agenda aligns with the Universal Basic Education Commission’s mission to address the growing complexity of basic education and the urgent need to support over 18 million out-of-school children in Nigeria.
Hon. Salman Idris was received at the UBEC office by the Deputy Executive Secretary in charge of services, Mr. Tunde Segun Ajibulu.
Their discussions centered on collaborative strategies to expand access to basic education, enhance teacher development, and create quality learning environments for greater impact on foundational basic education Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency.
Mr. Ajibulu extolled the virtues of Hon. Salman as a versatile grassroots mobilizer, astute politician, pragmatic leader and shining star of Kogi State. He expressed deep appreciation for the quality engagement and pledged to contribute to transforming basic education his constituency and Kogi State at large.
