2023 Polls: INEC Chairman Raped Our Nascent Democracy

It is high time I take a timely break from political debate.

I also need to cool my head off politics because it is obvious I wasted my precious time and meager resources to travel to Ane’Igala last weekend to exercise franchise as a supposedly patriotic Nigerian.

This is the most unfair election ever witnessed in my adult life.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Prof Yakubu Mahmood, raped democracy on the altars of irregularities in full glare of mixed feelings and distrust.

Nigerians did not decide rather, it is the INEC Chairman and his sponsors that are fighting in futility to decide for Nigerians at such a critical time of our nation’s history.

It will end in shame!

What happened to BVAS? Why is collating of results taking days? With the introduction of BVAS technology, the total number of voters in each polling unit is known, so why the intentional delay?

Professor Mahmood Yakubu is playing with our collective intelligence. We are presently observing a sharp contrast to all his pledges before the commencement of election.

What happened to the much chanted INEC Server? Why is the results not uploaded directly to the server? Indeed, BVAS is overrated.

While I painfully implore all Nigerians to remain calm in the face of this obvious anomaly, I call on relevant authorities (if any) to call Mahmood Yakubu to order.

Unfortunately, a Professor is finding it difficult to configure primary school arithmetics.

Shame! Shame!! Shame!!!
